Current public website status

The public website provides product information, prepares outbound WhatsApp finance enquiries, and can send a verified general contact enquiry by email. It does not itself make credit decisions, execute loan agreements, disburse funds, collect repayments, process investments, or run live financial transactions.

Nothing is sent from the finance enquiry form until the user reviews and sends the prepared WhatsApp message.
General contact enquiries require anti-spam verification and may be sent by email to Esangweni when the configured delivery service is available.
A finance enquiry is not a completed loan application.
Formal processes and documentation follow separately where an enquiry can proceed.

Regulatory status

Esangweni Microfinance (Private) Limited is a registered and licensed credit-only microfinance institution under the Microfinance Act [Chapter 24:30]. Licence No. 001044. We offer secured and unsecured loans, subject to eligibility, affordability, credit assessment, required documentation, and applicable terms.

Esangweni's approved public proposition is credit-only microfinance.
Product-specific terms and required disclosures apply to any finance that is formally approved.

Lending risk and eligibility

Preparing or sending a WhatsApp enquiry does not guarantee finance. Credit decisions require assessment of eligibility, the stated need, affordability, repayment ability, required documentation, and applicable terms.

No automatic approval or instant-finance promise is made.
Rates, fees, limits, security requirements, and repayment periods are confirmed only through relevant product documentation.

Loan-linked protection

Loan-related protection or credit-life cover, where applicable, is arranged through a licensed insurer and is not directly underwritten by Esangweni.

The insurer's eligibility, exclusions, benefits, claims process, and final terms apply.

Diaspora and investment risk

The diaspora pathway is developing and is not currently an active financial product or offer to invest. Esangweni does not receive, hold, or invest diaspora funds through the public website.
